Design your own Pirate Character! Win a plushie :3

I'm sorry I have weird epiphanies in the middle of the night when my fiance is snoring logs and I can't sleep.

Rules so far: (subject to tweeking) Please read carefully because they have changed!

1) You must submit a character sheet (of ONE character) with full body (front and back/side) of your character, in COLOR like a full body mugshot ^.^ If you win, the outfit that is on your character sheet will be the one that your plushie has.

2) You need to describe the character including the name, age (approximate if appropriate), role on the "pirate ship", and anything you think is relevent to the description of your character. You can put this description in your artist notes.

3) Character and story must be ORIGINAL to applicant! Please try to stear away from Pirates of the Caribbean, Pendance or anything like that. Pirates based on ACTUAL history is okay, as long as you don't tell me you want an ACTUAL pirate as your plushie. So Anne Bonny's sister is okay...though I don't think she had one. Does that make sense? Just try to make up your own pirate.

4) Characters must be at least semi-human looking. Since I've only made human plushies, I still need time to experiment on other kinds such as anthro or monsters, etc. So things like elves, faeries, and such are okay, but machines are questionable. I will consider half human, half something else, as long as the face/top half is humanish.

5) You may submit up to TWO character sheets, and they must be seperate drawings/seperate entries. You can only win once.

6) When you submit your character sheet, please put that it is for my contest and use the which is :icon atalaia-leafsong: without the space. Submit it as a Deviation and it can't be in your scraps. Once you've submitted the deviataion please send me a note with the link to your submission.

7) Characters submitted must be for the most part teen-friendly. You can have blood and language, just be mature about it, I mean come on, they're PIRATES! Please no graphic nudity. o_O Though hopefully you WANT your pirate to have clothing.

Characters will be judged by a pannel of judges, including myself and the top two choices will win the custom plushie. Entries will be judged on creativity of Character. We won't judge on your drawing, HOWEVER it does help if i can understand what your pirate will look like, so I can make a plushie. You can only win one plushie. Any questions please feel free to ask me anything! Just send me a note or leave a message on my page/journal.

If you would like to be a judge please send me a note. I would like ppl who are fans of PIRATES and feel like they can judge it fairly. You cannot enter the contest if you are a judge. I will only be taking a few judges.

ps Because I have changed this contest, if any of the judges would like to cest being judges so they can enter, I won't be offended. However, IF you have won in my previous contest, you cannot enter until the next one. so..yah. there were only three of you.
